This page is a draft. It is not the privacy policy that will ship with Wayhour, and it is not legal advice.
Wayhour is scheduled, end-to-end encrypted location sharing. You choose the people and the hours. During those hours the app can share your location with them. The location payload is encrypted so the server is not meant to read it. The keys stay on your phone. Outside those hours, the app is not sharing.
If you join the waitlist, we store your email address, the language you picked (EN or ES), and a hash of the network address used for that request. We only use your email to tell you when Wayhour launches. Unsubscribe anytime. We do not sell the list.
This website does not load third-party scripts and does not use analytics. The language toggle saves EN or ES in this browser’s local storage. That choice stays on the device.
A full policy — what the app collects, how long it is kept, and how to delete it — will replace this draft before launch.

Wayhour es compartir ubicación por horario, cifrada de extremo a extremo. Tú eliges a las personas y las horas. Durante esas horas la app puede compartir tu ubicación con ellas. El contenido va cifrado para que el servidor no debería poder leerlo. Las claves se quedan en tu teléfono. Fuera de esas horas, la app no comparte.
Si te unes a la lista de espera, guardamos tu correo, el idioma que elegiste (EN o ES) y un hash de la dirección de red de esa solicitud. Solo usamos tu correo para avisarte cuando Wayhour se lance. Puedes darte de baja cuando quieras. No vendemos la lista.
Este sitio no carga scripts de terceros y no usa analítica. El selector de idioma guarda EN o ES en el almacenamiento local de este navegador. Esa elección se queda en el dispositivo.
